Coco It was because of Coco that Nicole and Joseph needed to create their own pet care service, so we owe this all to him! Coco was adopted by Nicole in 1997 from North Shore Animal League. He is the sweetest boy and can be seen following Nicole around town, helping exercise the dogs in the country and always driving shotgun in MMH's car. He loves to eat, sleep and chase deer scents in the country.

Apollo Joseph first saw Apollo playing at the 72nd Street Dog Run in 2000. Apollo was wearing a bright orange vest with "Adopt Me" written on it. He was rescued from a drug lot in Brooklyn where he was left to find his own food, brave the weather and deal with very mean people. The nice lady that rescued him would bring him and some of the other rescued dogs to the dog run to play and hopefully get adopted. Apollo dropped his ball at Joseph's feet and they have been in love ever since! Apollo can be seen visiting the elderly people at various old age homes where Joseph takes care of the elderly people's dogs-he especially likes the ladies! He is very loyal and is always here to greet the dogs that board with us, self appointing himself as the protector of all MMH clients. He loves to play fetch, collect sticks and eat.

Shadow Shadow found us in September of 2005 when we were visiting a horse farm. She was one of about 50 kittens living in a dilapidated barn. She climbed up Nicole's leg and perched herself on Nicole's shoulder. She would not leave and followed Nicole back to her car. She was sick when she found us, but thanks to some great veterinary treatment she is thriving. She LOVES dogs and can be found hanging out with MMH boarders on the weekends. She loves to run in the field, climb trees and sleep next to Coco. She is a great office assistant since she loves to collect documents coming out of the printer.
Rambler We rescued Rambler in 2005 from a sad situation. He was overworked, skinny and a tired old man. He had a great life living in the barn at our country home where he gently spent his days roaming in his pasture, hanging out with Apollo and the cats and watching over the property when we were not around. He loved to eat and watch the dogs playing nearby. He passed away this early November and he will be missed.
Kitten Kitten was adopted in 2003 from the Ulster County SPCA. We wanted a cat and she fit the bill. She is sweet and loves her big brother Apollo. She loves to sleep in beds that she no longer fits in, to hide and to eat.

Nicole Rector Owner and operator of Meet Me Here, Nicole can be found all over the West Side visiting with her doggie clients and making sure every MMH dog is getting the best care possible. When she was unable to find a pet care provider that offered coverage and care for her dog, she combined all her ideal pet care options and started the company. Nicole studied business at Binghamton University and New York University and feels lucky to be able to combine her love for animals with the business strategy she learned. |
